With these new taxes on things like non-diet soda (18% at that!), the state government is essentially dictating what we eat.
They call it the obesity tax, but we all know diet soda doesn’t make you skinny. I know plenty of fatties who drink diet soda (but eat greasy doublestack burgers and other crap food).
While it won’t really hit my pocketbook...
Wouldn't it be nice...
if the background-position property in CSS would accept inherited values for dimensions? It would really help taking down the verboseness of CSS sprites, as instead of having to declare both x and y dimensions on an active/hover state, you would be able to just adjust the Y position, which is all that really changes.
Confused? I think I confused myself there. So this is what I’m talking...
My bit.ly problem
For over a month now, and only on my laptop, I cannot get to bit.ly using FIREFOX 3.
When I try I get an nginx error screen. It’s a 400 error - bad request.
I do not have nginx installed on my laptop.
I do not have a bit.ly entry in my hosts file.
I can get to bit.ly in Safari and Firefox 2 (I have multiple Firefoxes since I am a web developer).
